Joe Holman, CPA, MBA

Joe Holman founded ESG Administration LLC (ESGA) in 2018 to help investment managers and corporations implement and operationalize ESG strategies. With over 25 years of experience in financial services, fund administration, and operational consulting, he brings a rare combination of deep industry expertise and forward-looking ESG insight to the alternative investment landscape.

At ESGA, Mr. Holman leads the firm’s strategy and client advisory efforts, helping corporations navigate evolving regulatory requirements in California, Europe, and globally. He advises on the various ESG frameworks, including the ISSB’s sustainability disclosure standards under international GAAP. His ability to bridge regulatory expectations with practical fund operations makes him a trusted partner for alternative investment managers and corporate clients alike.

Prior to founding ESGA, Mr. Holman launched Columbus Avenue Consulting, a boutique fund administrator, in 2004. Earlier in his career, he served as an audit partner at Rothstein Kass & Company PC, which later merged with KPMG.

Mr. Holman is a licensed CPA in New York, an FSA Credential Holder (SASB), and a CFA ESG Investing Certificate. He is a member of the AICPA and an active participant in the UN Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI). He holds a BSBA from Clarion University, an MBA from Rutgers University, and a Certification in Sustainability Analytics.
