Joe Holman, CPA, MBA

Joe Holman founded ESG Administration LLC (ESGA) in 2018 to help investment managers and corporations implement and operationalize ESG strategies. With over 25 years of experience in financial services, fund administration, and operational consulting, he brings a rare combination of deep industry expertise and forward-looking ESG insight to the alternative investment landscape.

At ESGA, Mr. Holman leads the firm’s strategy and client advisory efforts, helping corporations navigate evolving regulatory requirements across the USA, California, Europe, and the globe. He advises on various compliance frameworks, including US taxation and labor laws, as well as ESG compliance. His ability to bridge regulatory expectations with practical fund operations makes him a trusted partner for both alternative investment managers and corporate clients.

Before founding ESGA, he launched Columbus Avenue Consulting in 2004, a boutique fund administrator focused on hedge and private equity fund administration and outsourcing.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Holman was an audit partner at Rothstein Kass & Company PC, which later merged with KPMG. He is a licensed CPA in New York and is a member of the AICPA. Mr Holman holds a BSBA from Clarion University and an MBA from Rutgers University.
